With over 17 years of experience in the restaurant industry—including 12 dedicated to restaurant management—Karim is a cornerstone of L’Antidote. An expert in team leadership, customer relations, and operational excellence, he brings a dynamic approach built on precision, quality, and outstanding service.
Starting from the ground up, Karim climbed every rung of the ladder, developing a deep understanding of on-the-ground operations and a broad strategic vision of the profession. His journey includes numerous restaurant openings, where he refined his skills in organization, technical needs management, equipment layout, and operational flow optimization.
Since day one at L’Antidote, Karim has played a key role in laying the company’s solid foundations. As both the brother and partner of the founders, he sees this venture as far more than just a restaurant—it’s a family dream brought to life.

Walid, the Visionary Behind the Bar

From humble beginnings as a bartender in a Lebanese seaside resort over 23 years ago, Walid has continuously pushed the boundaries of the cocktail craft. A true pioneer on the Middle Eastern scene, he was among the first to introduce modern cocktail culture to Lebanon—eventually inspiring an entire generation of bartenders, mixologists, and enthusiasts across the MENA region and beyond.
An inventor at heart, Walid has designed his own tools, reinvented techniques, reimagined bar ergonomics, and raised the standards of service—reshaping the very codes of the profession. His influence reaches far beyond the bar counter; it helps shape the evolution of the bar world itself.
